Group training classes in the Scotts Valley!
Puppy Classes
In this class, we will work on basic obedience (our sits,downs, stays and leash skills), relaxation techniques, focus skills, socialization and handling. We will be as busy as our puppies! The class includes structured socialization with puppies one on one and in a group setting.
When: 5 week class from 9am-950am
Classes will start on Sunday, April 21st and continue through Sunday, May 19th. These classes build on each other each week. There will only be cancellations due to weather.
Price: $200
Where: Hocus Pocus Park- 700 Lundy Ln., Scotts Valley, CA 95066. Classes will be on the basketball court (Located/parking on Whispering Pines Drive)
Who: Puppies who are at least 11 weeks but no older than 16 weeks at the start of the class. Puppies should have their 2nd round of distemper vaccine.
Other D-Tails: In this class, we will be utilizing positive reinforcement techniques. We will be using food as a primary way of motivating our puppies. Bring at least 100 training treats that can be easily broken up. A treat pouch is required for this class. All dogs should be fitted to a harness, martingale or flat collar.
This class is not appropriate for reactive dogs. If your dog is reactive (barks/lunges) towards dogs,humans or moving objects, this environment might be too stimulating for them at this time. We want to make sure you feel successful! If you are looking for lessons for your reactive pup, please let us know and we can provide some resources to you.
Foundations Class
In this class, we will help set you and your dog up for success in the home and out in the world. Weekly topics will include impulse control exercises, relaxation techniques, polite greetings, loose leash walking and leave it. We’ll be utilizing food and games to create a collaborative experience for both dogs and their owners.
When: 5 week class from 10-1050am

Who:Dogs aged 6 months and older with up to date bordatella, distemper + rabies vaccines
